i’ve lost track of how many times this scare has happened. I’m all for dumping full resources into making our own version so that we stop going through this rinse and repeat every couple of months.

I totally get that, but the fact of the matter is that the whole community won’t end up at the new place (whatever it is), and my fear is that it just won’t be the same. OPPO is special, and I’m afraid of losing that in the transi tion.

I guess I should take heart in the fact that LaLD seems to have managed to do it (after the last scare).

Discord is a bit of a mess - hard to follow when several conversations are going on. Hopefully we’ll figure out the real OPPO replacement soon (if actually necessary).

i feel that users will be lost either way but we stand the best chance of retention if we proactively have our own home instead of being cut off unexpectedly and then scrambling to get something together.
